We are known in "architecture with principal ridgepole communities" of more than 100 big things and small things registered as world heritage, and life of people is still spot to be able to enjoy beautiful scenery almost original scenery of run Japanese farm villages.
We have abundant stores to be able to enjoy regional cuisine and Hida beef, and there is Hirase hot spring springing out of the foot of Hakusan again in the southern part of Shirakawa-go and is got close to many tourists.
The ruins of Ogicho-jo Castle observation deck
There is the ruins of Ogicho-jo Castle observation deck on hill overlooking Ogicho with communities and becomes perfect point that can overlook seasonal architecture with principal ridgepole communities.

Call high mountain festival (we worship Takayama) as generic name to let you do festival of two spring and summer, and *sanhachibankyureisai on October 9-10 is "the Hachiman Festival in autumn" "spring SANNO festival" by Hie-jinja Shrine annual festival on April 14-15 every year.
We are cited in one of the Japan's three biggest beautiful festivals with the Gion festival of Kyoto, Chichibu night festival, and "stand event of high mountain festival" is registered with the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage.
High mountain festival stand is appointed in important existence form folk cultural assets of country, and 11 stands pull, and we are prepared for "spring Sanno festival" by 12, "the Hachiman Festival in autumn", and "mechanism dedication" featuring mechanism doll moving precisely is shown.

Takayama-jinya

The mountaintop observation deck is at "Nishi Hodakaguchi Station" in 2,156m above sea level and can thoroughly enjoy the mountains such as Mt. Nishihotaka, Yarigatake, Kasagatake in 360-degree vast panorama.
Hidafurukawa
In the town where beautiful cityscape utilized traditional building remains of Hida movie "your Person." Spots said to have become model of this scatter around Hida-Furukawa Station.
"Furukawa festival" is held every year on April 19 and 20.
Okuhida Onsengo
It is famous in hot-spring village among beautiful mountains which are also called Northern Alps as doorway of mountain climbing visitor.
There are five hot spring resorts called flat hot water, Fukuchi, Shinpei hot water, Tochio, Shin-Hotaka and can enjoy various hot springs from outdoor bath said to be unexplored hot spring to chartered bath.
Gero Onsen
